Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio

Well, I am out of state with my family back home. I left all my crafting supplies at my house. The one thing I do have is my laptop. I finally realized that I can still design cards even if I don't have any supplies, I have My Digital Studio! Here is a card I designed today.

Hope you enjoy!

Sorry

So sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I had to go out of town to see a few family members in the hospital. Unfortunately, that didn't leave a lot of time for stamping. I'm back now and I can start creating again. Thanks for your patience.

Halloween Trio

Here is my interpretation of Sketch Frenzy Friday's sketch from Sept. 3rd.
The owl and ghost are from our Two-Step Owl Punch. The faces of the ghost and jack-o-lantern are from the Pumpkin Faces Sizzlits Die. The pumpkin is also a Sizzlits Die, Pumpkin #4. I wheeled the Jumbo Wheel Frightful Fence in Early Espresso on Crumb Cake cardstock. The whole thing is layered on Rich Razzleberry.

Delightfully Clean and Simple

This card combined quite a few different challenges.
Layout: Clean & Simply FLT106

Theme: The Paper Players #14, Christmas Card Challenges #40

Pearls: Pals Paper Arts PPA58
The card base is Early Espresso. I used the Scalloped Trimmed Border and Corner Punches on Marina Mist cardstock. The sentiment is from Four the Holidays and stamped with Early Espresso ink. The ornaments are from Delightful Decorations and Tags til Christmas, stamped with Real Red ink, and punched with the Ornament Punch. I used 3 different sizes of pearls from Jewels Basic Pearls pack.

Alex's Blue Jimmie

This card was inspired by a lot of different things. Stampin' Celebration's Inspiration Challenge #18 is to create something to celebrate the end of summer. This summer we had a great vacation in Virginia. Alex was so excited that he caught a blue jimmie crab in Grandpa's crab pot. I combined 2 sketches to get my layout, Stamping 411 SSC167 and Our Creative Corner Sketch Challenge 31.

I think my biggest inspiration is Ellen Kemper. She is an amazing punch artist and I visit her blog almost every day. I wanted to do a crab card but I don't have any current Stampin' Up! sets with crabs. I decided that I would try my hand at creating a crab out of punches. The body is the Ornament Punch with the top rounded off with the Large Oval Punch. Jimmie's arms are the medium heart from Heart to Heart Punch, punched in half again by the same heart. The claws are the large heart from the Heart to Heart Punch, cut in half and rounded parts glued together. The eyes are from the Two-Step Owl Punch. Jimmie is punched out of Pacific Point. The wooden posts are Sahara Sand inked with the Woodgrain stamp in Early Espresso. The background blue is Baja Breeze. I layered everything on Confetti White Cardstock.

Thank You, Thank You

Here's my interpretation of last week's Stamping 411 Saturday Sketch Challenge 166.
I used the Color Coach to combine Night of Navy, Old Olive, and Daffodil Delight. The stamp set is Engraved Greetings. The other stamp in this set says "Happy Birthday". This layout would work with either sentiment.

Three Little Eastern Blooms

Have I told you how much I like Stampin' Up's Color Coach? That's where I found this combo.
I found this sketch @ Clean & Simple Stamping. I think I added a few more layers than they intended. I felt that I needed a small Basic Black mat between the Cherry Cobbler and Marina Mist. The flower stamp is from Eastern Blooms and stamped with River Rock ink. The sentiment is from Three Little Words. The beauty of this stamp set is that it has 6 different sentiments that go with 3 little words. Since I don't make many condolence cards, that was my choice for the inside of this card.

Lately I have been doing the inside of my cards to coordinate with the outside. It takes a little longer, but I like the look.
